Each sheet will be ready for you to use! I print the waterslides with a laser printer so there's no need to seal!
These clear waterslides will be safely packaged in a rigid mailer to prevent folds and creases.
Directions:
Cut out your design. Do not cut right to the edge of your design, leave 2-3mm of spacing.
Fill a bowl with warm water and submerge the decal for 10-20 seconds.
**If you wet the surface of the object a little, the decal will slide on better allowing for better positioning.**
Check to see if the waterslide is ready by feeling if the waterslide moves freely from the backing. If it does, then slide the decal off the paper into position on the object. If it's not quite ready, then put back in the warm water for a few seconds more and test again.
Gently blot excess water with a rag or paper towel and smooth with fingers or a straight edge object to work out any bubbles. Allow to dry for at least 3 hours.
The item needs to be either baked in an oven (ceramics) or sealed with 2-part epoxy.
Ceramics need to be baked in an oven at 230 degrees for 10-15 minutes.
Waterslide designs are not dishwasher safe and should be washed by hand, with no soaking.
Helpful Tips:
- Use your decals on a white or cream colored surface.
- Store the images so they lay flat.
